Story from equity learning

CAUSE AND RESOLUTION

Once upon a time a man couldn't find his axe. He suspected his neighbor's son because the boy walked like a thief, looked like a thief, and spoke like a thief. The following morning the man found his axe because he remembered where he had left it. The next time he saw his neighbor's son, the boy walked, looked, and spoke like any other child.

This ancient little tale by Lao-tzu portrays in five acts the cause and resolution of all conflicts--whether in a family, between neighbors, or among nations.

Act one: an external change occurs.

Act two: we become unhappy about the change, and we quickly find someone or something to blame.

Act three: our unhappiness colors our perceptions and we misidentify "the enemy."

Act four: the external cause of our unhappiness is removed.

Act five: our perception clears up and we see things as they simply are.

Unfortunately, very few people get to the fifth act and get stuck at Act Three, the reason being once we have misidentified "the enemy", ego builds a formidable rationalization process to ensure that we always feel that way towards that person or event. Why is it so hard to admit we were wrong, or to apologize to someone? Because we have invested so much energy in building our self-righteous façade, that the ego will do virtually anything to maintain consistency to keep us away from the Truth

Having an optimistic outlook can improve one’s health, to be more optimistic in your daily life, try these six strategies....

1. Be on the lookout for negative thoughts. When you catch yourself thinking
your life is terrible, stop the thought in its track.

2. Put things in perspective. Remember, everyone’s life is full of sorrows and joys.

3. Try to find the good in bad situations. If you’ve suffered a setback at work, for example,
look at what the situation tells you about yourself and learn from it. But don’t dwell on it.

4. Learn from your mistakes. Failure is one of the greatest learning tools,
but many people let failure defeat them. Learn and try again.

5. Even if you’re feeling down, act as if your mood is good. Smile at others. Laugh.
After a while, you find that your mood really does improve.

6. Be grateful. Gratitude can help you focus on what’s right in your life.

Pay attention to how your view of life may be bringing you down.....
With practice, you’ll be able to replace your negative thoughts with more positive ones

Need is the mother of Invention..
Do you know most of the best things came from people's hobbies or need..
Among many others that we know, I am listing few of them..

Example: Cric Info Site: Read that Cric Info came from the hobbies of two people who were in US studying in a university. and there is no way of getting info about Cricket updates.. So, they came up with Cricinfo site..

another one: Google News groups:
Krishna Bharat of Google had a hobby of looking news. and so he came up with a Google news where the most recent news come on top....

So, if you want to succeed, have useful hobbies.. :) :) :) :)

Random Ideas:
If you are not able to express | Defend what you are doing.then the work is worthless..How simple and effective this thing is..

After all, preaching is easier than practice..:)

Getting Job is not the only destination. :)
Points to be considered while joining a company:

First and foremost reason is the environment, work.
The environment should be comfortable to work.. And the peers should be friendly and co-operative.
The work should be interesting and also should have some value addition. Doing a work which doesn't make u to improve in ur tech field is worthless..The interest depends on person to person. some work might be interested to a person and might not be interested to another..
Is it going to distract your personal life?? Having lots of work...hmm..if you are workaholic..go on..but I prefer work shouldn't distract ur personal life. Work with full concentration in week days and enjoy life in the weekends..never bring work at office to home and viceversa..:) (It is very difficult to follow but not impossible.. :) hmm..I'll try and let you know..:) )

Ofcourse the appraisals matters.. ofcourse, again depends on person to person..but prefer never do work with a package which is not at par with your skills..but if the work is very good and it improves ur tech and professional skills then ofcourse, u shouldn't leave ur job for the package..go on working atleast for few years..

Hmm..didn't get any other thoughts yet.'ll post once they come..:)

Today I read a news in news paper regarding Shiv Sena ppl burnt valentines day greeting cards..So I juist remembered a story which I read in news paper last year almost at the same time....

A girl who was studying in a college gets a perfumed gift on a valentines day..So she wonder who might hav sent this.. So, she opens the gift and sees a greeting card and a letter inside it..
The script is of the dearest one she knows since her childhood.. And letter contains something like this..

My Dear Riya(I don't remember name, so kept this.. :P),
You might have get upset after receiving this letter from your mom.. But I am sending this gift to you on valentines day inorder to make you happy..B'coz you might felt bad, as ur frnds might be getting gifts on valentines day.. This way of feeling bad is common in your age.. But I don't want my sweet daughter to get upset..and now you can show this to your friends saying that you also got a gift today..Don't be haste in taking decisions especially in selecting your life partner.. I hope u'll take a right decision...
Always loving you,
your mother..

PS: Actually the story was very good.. But I don't remember much exactly except a mother sending a gift and also the way she writes to her daughter as a friend rather as a mother..and the way she express her love to her and at the same time her care towards her daughter to make her to not to go in bad path at any circumstances (Generally, parents should be very careful at the teen-age of their children where the life of child gets determined..at that age, generally children gets attracted to friends..it is parent's responsibility to make their children to get good friends..and also they should be like friends rather like rulers.. I am tellign this, because I have seen some ppl who behave like rulers towards their children..
But I am lucky to get a very good parents..

Lucky- Continued.........
by looking at Lucky I remember the story that I read (rather say crammed) in my 10th Std.. Where the author talks about a just born baby...

A baby with clean mind and away from 6 enemies..also called Arishadwarga..
(1) Personal desire, lust or any passion (Kama);
(2) Hatred or malice (Krodha);
(3) Avarice or cupidity (Lobha);
(4) Ignorance (Moha);
(5) Pride or arrogance (Mada);
(6) Jealousy, envy (Matcharya);

So, we just be away from all sorrows when we starts looking at babies and so forget all our problems..

A baby who talk himself and smiles himself.. (may be..who knows he might be talking to God)..this I clearly found from lucky..in my home she used to look at 2 God Photos and starts laughing herself and tries to talk..:)

Don't remember remaining lesson.. :( will post it once it clicks to me.. :)

my aim: to write big article :D ok..ok..don't laugh..
to write a small story.. :)) oh..ok..ok..don't laugh..
atleast write a story which u read in some other language..(translation..:) ) seems possible.. :)

adding a directive couldn't work..and finally came to know that the problem is my view is in bad state.. :(
Doing really time passing rather doing a good stuff..sometimes I wonder why am I like this?? :(

Kruti (AKA Lucky):

As the work is not much and I am not interested in doing something..So thought of writing blog on Lucky (After getting an idea from Ms Elizee :) )
Lucky born on August 1st..My sweet lucky I can't stay without seeing her atleast once in 2 weeks. She started picking things in her hand (so beware of her if u hav long hair.. ;) )

Heard that cool lucky started moving slowly and also started eating apple and banana..:) I am verymuch excited to see her. my sweet lucky never cried for any other reasons other than hungry and sleepy.. I sometimes feel my sis is too lucky to have such a nice baby gal..:) and so they are able to watch 3 movies in theatre till now..:) (now, u might hav understood why they kept her nick name as lucky.. ;) )

Kruti , the name was proposed by me.. finally they had to accept it as they didn't find any other name..;)

Will update with more details once I come back after seeing her..:)

Status: Not yet decided..(Big O vs Little o) :)

getting headache..boo hoo..I gets when I got tension.. boo..hoo..:)

where am I going?? Sometimes I think, I am not thinking any thing.. Just passing time..so I remember a story..it is like this..

" A person works hard in his childhood to reach a good position in society( both fame and money).. And when he became old..he was not having satisfaction..He was wondering why? he is having money and everything..but still why he is not happy??.. He did an introspection..and he remembered the days of his studies where he was working hard..having a target that he want to be in good position and be happy..so that time when ever he gets good marks and got good job..he was very happy.. so he realizes the reason behind his unhappiness is no aim or target to achieve.. "

So, after reading this story, I thought "Am I in the same position??" why am I not having aim..if I have, why am I not working hard..

After getting inspired from jaya and anshu's blogs..I too started writing blog.. this weekend didn't go to sis home so had to do some cleaning at home..:) and prepared daal very badly..(Last time only, it came well and I thought I became expert in cooking.. ;) ) But somehow daal was eatable.. So had to eat with that.. ;)

Rang De Basanti:
A nice movie.. first half full of laughter..
"Some ppl die by screaming and some ppl die in silence..and I met the third kind.."
This was the starting and end dialogue of the movie.. Organization of the scenes in the movie is too good.. we can see how much hardly they might hav worked to come up with the scenes..
first half was full of fun..and they used to show a li'l bit of patriotism..and when you are thinking that you are going to cry by seeing the scene..they'll change the mood by showing the presence..

but the second half is a li'l bit heavy..but worth seeing..
---
hmm..thought of writing a lot..but don't hav time,...passing time till now in surfing the net.. and thinking about work here..and ojos.. :)
